Basement Finishing
Often the most cost-effective way to add living space — when it starts with moisture, not drywall.
Overview
Turn unused square footage into real living space — dry, warm, code-compliant and finished like the rest of your home.
A finished basement can add a family room, office, gym or guest suite without changing your home’s footprint. Doing it right starts with moisture: we assess and address it before a single stud goes up, then frame, insulate and finish the space so it feels like part of the house — not an afterthought.
We plan the layout around your mechanicals, egress requirements and ceiling heights, so the finished space works as well as it looks.

Questions
Questions, answered.
Have a question that isn’t here? Call us — we’re glad to talk it through.
Does my basement need waterproofing first?
Not always. Every basement gets a moisture assessment before we price the finishing work. If there is an issue, we explain the options and include them in your written estimate.
Can you add a bathroom in the basement?
In most cases, yes. Drain locations and ceiling heights determine the approach, and we will walk through it with you on site.
Do I need an egress window?
Bedrooms require an emergency escape opening under the building code, and some finished basements do as well. We will confirm what your layout needs and handle it as part of the project.
